The Meridian School

Nestled in Meridian Park in the heart of Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood, we are a caring and inclusive elementary school community serving 200 students (Gr. K-5).

The Meridian School

For over 40 years, The Meridian School has been committed to shaping globally responsible citizens who are empowered to inquire, investigate, innovate and impact their communities. Guided by a belief in the power of a wide range of human potential, we approach each child’s learning flexibly and responsively. Our inclusive approach serves a diverse community of learners through a combination of instructional differentiation and small group intervention or extension. Our unique location in Wallingford’s historic Good Shepherd Center situates us in a 6.5-acre park and surrounds us with nonprofit organizations such as the Tilth Alliance, Washington Green Schools and the Wallingford Senior Center. Academics take place inside the classroom and out in the park, and lessons in community begin by simply walking in the door.

Information Sessions hosted weekly October - January.  Visit our admissions webpage to learn more about registering for events, or contact our team at admissions@meridianschool.edu for more information.
