Woodland Park Zoo

Woodland Park Zoo

Woodland Park Zoo Camps inspire children to make conservation a priority in their lives by advancing their STEAM skills, building connections to nature, and exploring the animals of our world. Campers will spend their days tracking a grizzly bear, traveling through the forests of Borneo, discovering the WILD in our very own backyard and so much more. Through big body play, outdoor activities, sensory exploration, empathy building opportunities and visits to the animal habitats around the zoo our curricula offer developmentally appropriate practices to support the Next Generation Science Standards and camper development.

We offer school-year break camps and summer camp, full and half day. Camp dates follow Seattle Public Schools' calendar. Our camps are divided into tiers by camper age. Curricula themes are centered around the zoo's mission to save wildlife and inspire everyone to make conservation a priority in their lives.
