DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the 4th of July in Tumwater! \nFor over 30 years\, the City of Tumwater has hosted its Annual Independence Day Parade. The parade begins at 11:00 a.m. on July 4. Individuals and organizations interested in participating in the parade\, please click the blue button below to register online when the form is available. \nParade Details\nTimeline: The Independence Day Parade is held annually on July 4. \n10:30 a.m.: No vehicle access allowed along the parade route.\n10:45 a.m.: Pre-parade activities begin\n11:00 a.m.: Parade begins\nParade starts at the corner of Capitol Boulevard and Lee Street.\nMoves south on Capitol Boulevard to Israel Road.\nTurns west (right) onto Israel Road and continues past City Hall\, ending up at Linderson Way / Israel Road Intersection. \nTumwater Family Festival & Nisqually Red Wind Casino Fireworks Show is the biggest and best fireworks festival in the County – and it happens on the Tumwater Valley Golf Course driving range every year on July 4th! \nEvent gates open at 6:00 p.m.; the fireworks show begins at 10:15 p.m. \nFestival entry: FREE! \nEvent Parking: $10/car (cash only) benefits Thurston County Special Olympics. Event parking lot is adjacent to the Driving Range\, accessible via E Street off Capitol Blvd.
