Christmas Ship Viewing - Magnuson Beach Park

Description

Ship arrival/departure time is 8:55-9:15 p.m. but you are invited to the pre-activities of live music, refreshments, and hundreds of luminaries (weather permitting) starting at 8 p.m. Sponsored by the Magnuson and Laurelhurst Advisory Councils and Seattle Parks and Recreation. To get to the beach: enter the park at NE 65th St. from Sand Point Way NE. Drive straight ahead (east) to the lake, then left (north) of Lake Shore Dr. NE. Park at the foot of Kite Hill, near "The Fin Art Project." Each night, from late November to December 23, the Argosy Christmas Ship sails to different Puget Sound waterfront locations. Other lighted boats join in to make a boat parade.  At departure, return and/or planned stops en route, the public is invited to gather on shore, view the ships and listen to the ship’s choir sing (broadcast via a speaker system). Some locations feature a bonfire as well. CHOIR: Dickens Carolers DEPARTS: Kirkland City Dock, 7:00-9:45pm 8:55-9:15 Warren G. Magnuson Park
