Beethoven’s 5th Symphony will be the highlight of the Conservatory Orchestra’s performance under the direction of John Welsh at the Washington Center. The program also includes soloist Mallory Halbert, viola, performing Hindemith’s Trauermusik and von Suppe’s Light Cavalry Overture. The Brass Choir, Greg Allison Conductor, will feature Charlie Taft, trombone, performing Blue Bells of Scotland, along with traditional brass fanfares. Also appearing: Academy and Debut Orchestras.
