Girls and boys in grades 1-3: It's Electric!
Working with Lower School Science Specialist Gabriel Newton, junior scientists will discover the highs and lows of electricity (...voltages that is)! Participants will watch some shockingly cool electro demos, make circuits and electromagnets, and learn how to store and discharge electric charges.
Girls and boys in grades 4-6: Let's Blast Off!
Working with Middle Science Science Teachers Alishia Bright and Alex Koerger, junior scientists are in for a wet and wild ride as they learn all about rockets. Participants will design, build and launch a water rocket during this fun session.
Snacks will be served at 10:00 a.m. as families check in for the workshops.
