Based on the Amy Tan novel, this play follows four young Chinese women born in America and their respective mothers, all born in feudal China, as they explore their pasts. Presented as a series of flashbacks, the exploration helps the them understand their difficult mother-daughter relationships. Adapted and directed by David Hsieh.
