DESCRIPTION:The Big Backyard 5K & 10K is an annual fun run and family walk celebrating the numerous King County Parks throughout our neighborhoods\, cities\, and county. \nFounded in 2010\, proceeds from the BBY 5K benefit King County Parks\, support maintenance within the parks and operations of the facilities and recreational resources to keep our parks operating and open year-round! \nSince the event’s inception in 2010\, more than 13\,000 participants have gathered to raise over $80\,000 for King County Parks! \nJoin us at 9:00am on Sunday\, June 7 at King County’s Marymoor Park to have fun in YOUR BIG BACKYARD! \nEVENT SCHEDULE \n7:30AM – 9:00AM –  Packet Pickup Opens at Marymoor Park Event Pad \n8:30AM – 1K Kids Run Start \n9:00AM – 5K & 10K Run/Walk Start \n10:00AM – Overall Awards Ceremony for top 3 finishers (male / female / Non-Binary) \n12:00PM – 2026 Event Concludes! \n
