Bellevue’s Gunnar Nordstrom Gallery will host a special traveling exhibit of rare Dr. Seuss artwork, opening Saturday, May 18. “The Art of Dr. Seuss – Rare Editions” exhibit offers an extraordinary look into the artistic life of Theodor Seuss Geisel and includes now-rare editions from his Secret Art, Unorthodox Taxidermy Sculpture and Archive Collections. The 21-piece exhibit is free and open to the public. On opening night, national artist representative and Kirkland resident Jeff Schuffman will present a brief lecture at the gallery at 7 p.m., providing insights into Geisel’s artistic endeavors, his unique vision and impact on American culture.
