Seattle Parks offers safe, life-guarded beaches at nine sites around the city, and it strongly recommends swimming only where lifeguards are present. Beaches are open daily, weather permitting, from noon to 7 p.m. weekdays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Seattle Parks also offers FREE mid day swimming lessons at all nine beaches and free evening lessons at select locations. Sign up at the beaches starting January 21 and please check out the flyers for more information.
Please note: Dogs are not allowed at organized athletic fields, beaches, or children's play areas in Seattle parks, per the Seattle Municipal Code.
