In the Summer of 2013, Shakespeare in the woods comes to Bainbridge Island. For one week in August, IslandWood's Creaky Tree Meadow will transform into a stage for the BPA Shakespeare Society's production of The Tempest. The Bard's final play, this tale of vengeance, redemption, courtship, and art asks questions about loyalty. Taking place on an island, a marooned magician and his daughter come into contact with those that set them there. But is revenge worth the cost when time is running out? A story about magic, romance, and regret, The Tempest will entertain audiences of all ages, especially by taking advantage of the natural beauty of the Northwest.
