Calling all Heroes, all shapes and sizes, Saturday April 25th to Bloedel Donavan Park in Bellingham, WA. for the 3rd Annual Super Hero 5k trail run. Race begins at 9 AM with registration starting at 8 AM. The course will take heroes through the beautiful Whatcom Falls Park ending back at Bloedel Donovan Park. Runner will be able to pick up prizes and awards immediately following the race in the Gym. Age group awards will be given following the race, as well as awards for best costume and everyone that beats the villain to the finish!
Proceeds from this event allow low-income children in Bellingham the opportunity to play, grow, and explore during summer and after school at The Firs Day Camp and After School Programs. More importantly, scholarships create bonds between under privileged children and staff who are often their strongest influences, loudest encouragers, and fiercest champions; because every kid deserves a hero.
