Grab your marching shoes, dust off your dwarf planet costume, sharpen your sign-making skills, and join The Greater Seattle Bureau of Fearless Ideas and the Greenwood Space Travel Supply Co. on March 28, 2015 for the Seventh Annual Dwarf Planet Pride Day!
Highlights of the event include:

1:30 - 2 p.m.: Sign making and pre-rally!

2 p.m.: Dwarf Planet Pride Parade through the Greenwood Neighborhood

2:15 p.m.: Moment of silence at Neptune Coffee to commemorate the reclassification of Pluto as a dwarf planet.

2:20 – 3:30 p.m.: Post-parade rally, including tiny food, a debate between students enrolled in the Bureau of Fearless Ideas workshop program; and a brief program featuring special guests Alan Stern (New Horizons principal investigator and Pluto expert), Alan Boyle (science editor at NBC News, author of A Case for Pluto and the Cosmic Log blog), Dr. Sarah Ballard (research astronomer at UW, NASA Carl Sagan Fellow, discoverer of over fifty exo-solar planets), and Oliver Frasier (astronomy lecturer at the University of Washington).
