Rent a Pirate Pond Boat to sail in Lake Union Park’s Model Boat Pond. These 39-inch pond boats are scale models of the R-Boat Pirate, which is on exhibit on our docks at South Lake Union. Sailing these miniature racing yachts is a great way to learn the basic concepts of sailing while enjoying time at the park.

For groups larger than 6 (of any age), we ask that you coordinate a specific time to bring your group down outside the regularly scheduled activities for the public. This helps assure your group has access to the boats. $175/event for up to 24 participants. CWB provides 12 pond boats and sailing instruction for up to two hours of maritime fun.
