A new race to our lineup this year and it is just for kids ages 14 and younger!
Kids will have the option to run either a 2-mile or 1-mile loop along the beautiful Wapato Park trail and get the chance to race their friends and compare times. For the parents, don't forget the camera.
The 1-mile (1 loop around the lake) begins at 9 am.
The 2-mile (2 loops) begins at 9:30 am.
Race logistics:
Metro Parks staff will lead the little kids around the lake, with one adult at the front of the group and one adult in the back as a "sweeper", so little ones will not be unsupervised. Parents/caregivers are absolutely welcome to run with their kids if they choose. Parents/caregivers do not need to register or pay. Parents/caregivers will not be timed
