Hooked on Books, a celebration of reading for children from infancy to primary grades, is a fun, kid-friendly, literacy program for young families. The participants will enjoy a variety of activities which support literacy: storytelling, interaction with a showcase of local children’s authors and illustrators, crafts, a nutritious snack, and a sing-a-long with musician Nancy Stewart. Hooked on Books is open to the community; the event is free, there is no charge to attend.

This event is on Sunday morning, September 25, from 10am-noon at the SJCC on Mercer Island.
