14/48: The World’s Quickest Theater Festival has graced a variety of stages all over Seattle (and beyond, for that matter), so it was only natural we’d eventually break down all four walls and take it outdoors. First as part of Seattle Center’s Next50 in 2012, and again with Seattle Rep in 2014. This year, we bring it out of downtown and into the neighborhood.
Thanks to a generous Put the Arts in the Parks grant from the Mayor’s Office of Arts & Culture, we’re bringing 14/48: Outdoors to Ross Park August 26 and 27, 2016. And we can’t wait to play in the new space! We’ve done the outdoor fest on a small hillside and on a raised stage in a parking lot/amphitheater, but what now? In the round? Roving performance spaces? Actors in trees??? The possibilities are endless. The shows will be FREE.
