This informal performance of the syllabus progression of the entire school offers a look into the technique and training methods emphasized and used at ARC. \nThe professional ARC Dance Company will join the School for the second half of the program in the complete ballet of La Fille mal gardée by Marie Chong. La Fille mal gardée (The Wayward Daughter) is a beloved comic ballet about a mischievous village girl\, Lise\, who outwits her mother to marry her true love\, the poor peasant Colas\, instead of a rich suitor. The ballet features vibrant folk dances like the Maypole and Garland dance.
