The Downtown Issaquah Association in partnership with the Issaquah Library celebrates its latest Story Walk “edutainment” program along with the City of Issaquah’s “Welcoming Week,” which embraces all cultures from across the world.
The Story Walk features Lupita and Roberto and their discovery that trees are full of life. The book’s pages will be displayed prominently in the windows and tree wells of Downtown Issaquah’s small businesses. Story Walk Map beginning September 6.
The story is one of friendship and wonder of nature. “(The tree’s) branches with abundant leaves protect us, give us shade and oxygen. They are also the home of multiple ecosystems, supporting many kinds of animals, plants, and insects. Lupita and Roberto’s discovery will change their perspective on trees forever.”
