About Dr. Shifrin: Dr. Don joined his current practice, Allegro Pediatricians, in 1978 and is also a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He attended medical school at Georgetown University, and completed his residency at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. He is has testified before congress, represented the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) on national task forces, and was co-editor of the Academy’s first parent news magazine, “Healthy Children”.
