SUMMARY:Celebrate Love with Bulrush
DESCRIPTION:This February when the days are dark and the nights are long\, come celebrate love and wild crafting by making bulrush hearts. This workshop is inspired by traditional Swedish straw weaving but on a larger scale and using locally and sustainably harvested bulrush.  \nDuring the workshop you will learn about bulrush as a wonderful weaving material and explore how strong yet flexible it can be in weaving. Each student will have the opportunity to make several hearts and choose their favorite style(s) and color(s). No plastics or glues – 100% biodegradable.  \nMinimum Age: 8 years old with paid adult (purchase 2 spots) \nClass Maximum: 10 | Class Minimum: 6 \nClass registration is NON-REFUNDABLE.  However\, if you want to sell or give your spot to a friend\, I’m happy to welcome someone else in your place.  Due to the nature of the projects (materials/soaking\, etc) and the small class sizes\, I’m unable to support refunds or credits.
