What better way to celebrate Pike Place Market’s 115th birthday than by shopping, eating, and relaxing at the Market!
On August 17, 1907, a handful of farmers set up along Pike Place after it was established as a public farmers market. By lunchtime, eager shoppers had purchased everything.
Today, Pike Place Market is one of the oldest and largest continuously operating public markets in the United States. It is brought to life by the hundreds of farmers, crafters, small businesses, and residents that call it “home.”
We invite you to shop, eat and explore all of Pike Place Market on Wednesday, August 17, and throughout the month as we celebrate our 115th birthday.
