DESCRIPTION:Join us at Lake Wilderness Park for Maple Valley’s favorite spring tradition — the Hooked-on Fishing Derby!Camping opens Friday\, April 24 at 2:00 p.m.\, and for one night only\, families can camp anywhere in the park for free (just register at the BECU tent). \nFishing officially begins at midnight when Puget Sound Fire sounds the starting siren. Anglers can purchase $2 and $5 tickets on-site or in advance at Johnsons Home and Garden or Lake Wilderness Chevron to be eligible for prizes — including the Top 100 Biggest Fish and the $300 Tagged Fish. You do not need tickets to fish or camp — those are free. \nEnjoy kids’ activities\, the Kids’ Fish Pen\, warming bonfires\, a fish-cleaning station\, and affordable meals from Rotary. No pre-registration is required\, tents only\, and fishing continues until noon on Saturday\, April 25. \nSpecial events: \n𝗙𝗜𝗦𝗛 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗔 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗘𝗥 (𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟱\, 𝟲-𝟭𝟭𝗮𝗺)Come fish with a firefighter at the dockside kid’s station from 6:00-11:00am.
