October 14 is Indigenous People’s Day- a day to recognize, honor, and celebrate Native peoples. Get ready for a day filled with festivities and appreciation for the abundant richness of Native communities, cultures, and history and participate in the many community-led events taking place throughout Seattle.
This year, the festivities for this city-wide celebration begin at Pier 62 with song, dance, and poetry before a march to King Street Station. Continue celebrating at the Indigenous People’s Day Rally, join in the fun at Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center, and gather at Washington Hall with community partners from across the city!
