KCLS Baking with Miss Bekka: Chocolate "Crazy" Cupcakes

Are you craving a treat to make your day a little extra special? Do you want to rebel and make dessert before dinner? Make your own chocolate cupcakes (no eggs or dairy). Listen to stories as your homemade goodness bakes in the oven. You might even have a chance to show your final product to the rest of the group (optional).

Ingredients

    • ▢1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 190g
    • ▢1 cup granulated sugar 200g
    • ▢1/3 cup natural unsweetened cocoa powder 35g
    • ▢1 teaspoon baking soda
    • ▢1/2 teaspoon salt
    • ▢1 cup water
    • ▢1/3 cup canola or vegetable oil 80ml
    • ▢1 Tablespoon white or apple cider vinegar
    • ▢1 teaspoon vanilla extract
      Optional: powdered sugar for topping
      chocolate chips (for all of you chocolate lovers)

    Supplies
    Mixing bowl
    Mixing spoon
    liquid measuring cup
    1 cup
    1/2 cup
    1/4 cup
    knife for leveling flour
    tablespoon
    teaspoon
    1/2 teaspoon
    Cupcakes holder and tin or 8x8 square pan
