SUMMARY:Magnuson Children’s Garden Free Classes and Stewardship Events
DESCRIPTION:We are currently planning our 2026 Children’s classes to occur every second Saturday April – October from 10-11 am. \nFree garden classes every 2nd Saturday from April – October:A great chance for families and adults to learn from Master Gardeners and other local garden educators about a variety of sustainable gardening methods\, including soil building\, plant health care\, food growing\, attracting pollinators\, and more! \nGarden stewardship events every 2nd Saturday from April – October:Led by Master Gardeners and other local garden experts\, these volunteer events are great chance for hands-on learning and practicing of sustainable gardening methods\, while helping keep this wonderful Children’s Garden beautiful and thriving! \nWeekday stewardship opportunities:These small-group events are led by veteran MGs\, to provide 1st and 2nd year MG interns with mentoring and experience in sustainable gardening practices\, as well as to enhance their knowledge and confidence to teach these practices to the public. \nTo volunteer for community stewardship events\, visit our Stewardship SignUp Genius pageTo sign up for our free and engaging Children’s Classes visit our Children’s Classes SignUp Genius Page COMING SOON \nFor more information or any questions about our events\, please contact the Children’s Garden Committee Volunteer Coordinator at childrensgardenvolunteering@gmail.com. \n
