Mindfulness Series for Kids (4 classes) with Kelly Snyder and r Henrieke Timmer Register for the series by 6/1

This is a mindfulness series for kids consisting of 4 x 45 minute classes. Kids will learn a range of tools from mindful breathing to regulating their emotions and connecting to their open hearts. Every class of the series has a specific topic:

1.Mindful listening

2.Mindful seeing

3.Mindful of your body

4.Mindful of all senses

Some of the benefits for children are:

  • Better focus and concentration
  • Increased sense of calmness
  • Decreased stress and anxiety
  • Improved impulse control

Recommended age is Kindergarten to 3rd Grade, but the whole family is welcome. Parents are encouraged to join so they can continue to use the techniques as support for kids and parents. Videos will be available on the website to re-watch or catch up if you missed a class. This is included in the price.

Henrieke Timmer was an elementary school teacher for 9 years. When she discovered Mindfulness and did a MBSR-course she immediately knew "This is what I want to teach children".
