Help create a community artwork that will be on view at MOHAI! As part of an upcoming exhibit, Vashon artist Miya Sukune will show you how to create felt flowers that will be part of a hanachozu-inspired display. Hanachozu are floral displays seen at Japanese temples and this display will be a community offering in remembrance of the families separated from their belongings and traditions. Open to all; crafting will be from 1:00 – 5:00 pm.
