Each month offer parents the opportunity to spend a night (or day!) out (or in!) while your child enjoys private, after-hours exploration of our exhibits, hands-on activities, and a live science, planetarium or laser light show. Your child will enjoy a light snack upon arrival and a science-themed treat later in the evening. Participants will be supervised in age groups by our outstanding and experienced staff all evening.
November 9: Parents’ DAY Out at Mercer Slough – Colors of the World
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in Bellevue | $45, or $35 for Members
Do blue and yellow always make green? Why do leaves change color in the fall? Come spend the day at Mercer Slough experimenting with the colors all around you. Observe the differences between colored light and colored paint, hunt for a rainbow of colors in the wetlands, and explore the colors in kitchen chemistry. Today will be a colorful day of fun.
