DESCRIPTION:Join us for a community celebration of Juneteenth through art\, music\, and good company! \nThroughout the day the museum will come alive with DJ’s\, live performance\, hands-on art making. Plus\, grab a free ticket to the museum from our community partner tables. \nJuneteenth marks a history of delayed freedom\, and it’s ongoing story of Black resilience\, creativity\, and joy. This celebration is an invitation to honor the legacy of the past\, present\, and future. \nnoon–4 pm \nFree to Be: Legacy Starts with Me fabric collage workshop Through fabric and color\, build a portrait that reflects who you are with collage artist\, Möet McClain.
