DESCRIPTION:Do you love Saint Edward State Park and want to go on guided nature walks every month? Come join Collaborative for Socio-Ecological Engagement (CoSEE) and Saint Edward State Park. \nJoin us for guided forest walks open to everyone—including leashed pets! These walks are co-led by staff from Washington State Parks and the Collaborative for Socio-Ecological Engagement (CoSEE)\, offering a welcoming\, informal way to explore and learn together. Hiking can be up to 2 miles\, and we base the length of the hike on those who show up day of. \nParticipants will learn about the park’s unique landscapes\, ongoing restoration and research efforts\, and the many plants and animals that call the forest home. Each walk is designed to encourage curiosity\, conversation\, and connection with the natural environment\, making it enjoyable for all ages and experience levels. \nWalks take place on the third Saturday of each month throughout the summer.\nIf you have questions or accommodation needs\, please contact cosee@uw.edu. We are happy to work with you to support your participation.
