Come explore Tacoma’s free winter festival of light art and sound downtown! Drive, ride or walk around a Trail of over 30 light art exhibits in windows and buildings, each with their own music or poetry and viewable 5-9pm every night. Join live music, circus, spoken word and light art performances 6-8pm Fridays and Saturdays in Tollefson Plaza, with community art-making, hot chocolate and food trucks. Join the Light Parade 5:30pm on Jan. 7. Bring light. Be the light.

- Friday, Jan. 7, 5 p.m.: Light parade beginning at the University of Washington Tacoma steps.
- Jan. 7, 8, 14 and 15, 5:30–8 p.m.: Live performances at Tollefson Plaza.
- Wednesday, Jan. 12 (rescheduled from Jan. 5): Light Trail Bike Decoration & Ride. First, register online. Then turn up with your bike and any lights you have at Alma Tacoma for the free 5 p.m. bike decoration workshop. The free guided bike ride begins at 6:30 p.m.
