Family program, all ages welcome.
Presented in English, Mandarin and Vietnamese.
We will read Lunar New Year story in English with Librarian Ms. Linda, hear a story in Mandarin and Vietnamese with Story Time presenters Ms. Hua and Ms. Vienthi. At the end, learn how to make a tiger paper collage with Librarian Ms. Bekka.
If you would like, please have the following supplies* ready in order to do the craft together:
- Red, orange, black and white construction paper (or any color available )
- Glue or glue stick
- Scissors
- Crayons, markers, paint, colored pencils (your preference)
- gold paper decorations or stickers (optional)
You can make the craft in advance, or during the program. You'll have a chance to share your final art at the end of the program (optional).
*Limited quantities of art supply bags will be available for pick up starting January 25th as supplies last.
