Experience the heraldic grit of John Williams’ The Cowboys and the soaring\, emotional journey of Alan Silvestri’s Forrest Gump Suite. We’ll also explore the deep\, soul-stirring themes of Ernest Gold’s The Exodus Song\, arranged with the rich tonal colors only a premiere wind ensemble can provide. \nFollowing intermission\, we dive into the legendary shadows of the mafia underworld with Nino Rota’s The Godfather Saga\, a masterclass in atmosphere and tension. The afternoon then takes a modern\, high-energy turn with Golden (from K-Pop Demon Hunters)\, showcasing the vibrant\, cross-cultural evolution of modern soundtracks\, before the exhilarating flight of John Powell’s How to Train Your Dragon. \nFinally\, we close the afternoon by traveling to a galaxy far\, far away. We’ve prepared a special encore of John Williams’ “March of the Resistance” from Star Wars: The Force Awakens—a propulsive\, brass-forward finale that celebrates the spirit of adventure.
