SUMMARY:Willow Star Wands Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Come try your hand at making willow wands! They make great gifts for all the magical people in your life. 🙂  \nEach participant will receive a bundle of willow rods to work with – this should give you plenty of practice and send you home with at least a dozen (12) lovely wands. Enough for a party!  \nMinimum Age: 8 with supporting adult* \n*Child + Supporting Adult = 1 ticket (you will share your supplies and register as 1 participant) \nTeacher: Marcy Johnson – textile artist and basket weaver. Marcy owned\, worked\, and taught at the Weaving Works\, Seattle for 50 years. Now retired she has time to weave\, knit\, spin\, make baskets\, books and jewelry. \nWorkshop registration is NON-REFUNDABLE.  However\, if you want to sell or give your spot to a friend\, we’re happy to welcome someone else in your place. \nWINTER WEATHER DISCLAIMER – Hosting an event in February in the PNW comes with some weather risk. If Sky Nursery is open\, the event will proceed as planned. If the workshop teacher is unable to attend due to weather\, students will be notified by email and receive a full refund. If you live in a snow prone location please note this disclaimer before registering.  \nWEAVING IN THE GREENHOUSE – The Sky Nursery Greenhouse is typically 10-15 degrees warmer than the outside temperature. Plan accordingly – wear layers\, perhaps a cushion to sit on\, or buy a toasty beverage at the Cafe.
