Argosy Cruises is a family friendly tour company offering many options to you and your kids. Quite simply, there is no better way to see Seattle than from the water. From narrated tours to the Tillicum Village native experience, and Royal Argosy Dinner Cruises, we offer something for everyone. We also host family friendly holiday events such as the Christmas Ship Festival, Mother’s Day events, Father’s Day events, and Easter brunch. Public Tours highlight different areas of the Seattle area. Choose from a one-hour Harbor Cruise around icon-filled Elliott Bay, or take the Locks Cruise around through the Ballard Locks into Lake Union. We also have cruises departing seasonally from the eastside in Kirkland, and a cruise of both lakes out of South Lake Union. Aboard the Royal Argosy Dining Boat, whether you join us for lunch, brunch or dinner, the experience includes a beautiful 2-3 hour cruise, fantastic meal, coffee tea and soda and live entertainment on most cruises. At Tillicum Village, your 4-hour adventure begins with an Argosy cruise on Puget Sound out to Blake Island. Here, you'll make your way up a path strewn with clam shells bleached by the sun. Enjoy an appetizer of clams and nectar followed by your buffet meal! Guests can watch whole salmon being cooked on cedar stakes over an alder-wood fire in the traditional Northwest Coast Indian Style. As you finish your meal, the lights dim while the myth and magic come to life in a spellbinding performance highlighting the customs, beliefs and dances of the Northwest Coast Salish Indians. After the show, you'll have free time to stroll the grounds and gift shop before returning to Seattle. In December, we offer the Argosy Christmas Ship Festival. The Argosy Christmas Ship™ festival is a holiday celebration that has been a Northwest tradition for 62 years. Its main purpose is to bring communities together to celebrate the holiday season. From our flotilla of ships to the crowds of people who gather onshore, this celebration is one of the gems of the holiday season. A choir onboard sings two performances offshore of local parks. Onboard the Christmas Ship we have a designated kids area with crafts and activities, and Santa will be wandering the decks to say hello to everyone. For over 60 years, Argosy Cruises has been celebrating the breathtaking beauty of the Pacific Northwest as a Seattle attraction. Founded as the Spring Street Water Taxi and then through the years operating as Seattle Harbor Tours and now as Argosy Cruises, the family-owned and Seattle-operated company has become the Northwest's premier cruise company operating from the historic downtown Seattle waterfront, South Lake Union and Kirkland City Dock.
