Description

Tired of the whining, arguing and tantrums? SweetiePie Parenting uses the Love and Logic® curriculum to teach affordable and effective parenting techniques that can help you raise respectful, responsible kids with less stress and more fun! Below are our two main courses. Either one can be attended as a class or individually, one-to-one: "Early Childhood Parenting Made FUN!™" Focusing on parenting children ages 6 mos. to 6 yrs., this fun class meets for 5 weeks, 2 hours per week. With a multiple weekly format, each week builds on previously acquired skills. Parents learn a basic technique, practice it for a week, then come back and talk about how it worked and hear ideas from other parents. "Parenting the Love and Logic Way™" This curriculum covers parenting of all age kids. This 6-week course meets 2 hours each week. Each week builds on the previously introduced concepts and creates peer-based support by hearing the feedback and ideas based on these proven, successful parenting techniques. In addition to the multi-week series, we also offer the following workshops: "Introduction to Love and Logic®" A 4-hour overview of the Love and Logic® philosophy and techniques, will help you understand the basics of Love and Logic and give some ideas on how to handle some common behavioral issues. "One-Day Condensed Workshop" If you can't attend one of our 5-week or 7-week parenting courses, or if you just want to brush up on your Love and Logic skills, then this 1-Day Workshop gives you an incredible amount of information in a very short time. Half-Day Specialty Topics: Parenting Teens with Love and Logic® Parenting Children with Special Needs Parenting Adopted or Foster Children Effective Parenting Together After Divorce...Staying on the Same Page These 4-hour parenting classes use Love and Logic® as it applies to unique parenting challenges. Learn how to help your child develop problem-solving skills and personal responsibility in preparation for living as an independent and confident adult in the real world.
