Oxbow Farm & Conservation Center

Feeding Bodies. Feeding Minds. Oxbow is a 25-acre vegetable farm, native plant nursery, and education center for kids. Oxbow, located in the Snoqualmie Valley, offers inspired, farm-based educational programming for kids and families throughout the growing season. Since its founding in 1999, Oxbow has hosted groups interested in learning about organic farming and restoration. In 2010, Oxbow formalized its status as an educational facility by becoming a nonprofit and offering field trips to school groups throughout King County and internships to young adults wishing to immerse themselves in farming life. Oxbow now offers many opportunities for children and adults alike to learn about agriculture, sustainability, and ecosystems. SUMMER CAMPS Since 2011, Oxbow has been offering summer day camps to kids ages 4-12. Summer campers spend their days with experienced farm educators learning about and practicing farm work, harvesting and eating produce directly from the fields, and exploring the natural world right here on the farm.
