Cedar Park Toddlers Preschool Co-op

Description

Cedar Park Toddlers is a North Seattle Community College Preschool Co-op for children who will be 12 to 23 months old by Aug.31 of 2012. Our class meets once a week on Tuesday from 9:30 to 11:30 am on the NSCC campus. We currently have openings for new students for the 2012/2013 school year. Each class includes large motor play, circle time, snack, free playing and parent education. Our bright open classroom has areas for art activities, a sensory table, home center play, block area play, fine motor manipulative play and a covered outdoor play space. Started over 50 years ago, NSCC PreSchool Co-op Program offers a warm and gentle introduction to community life for young children and their families. Adults and children learn together, grow together, and actively build a community together. For children, co-op is a safe and nurturing place in which to explore and have fun. Social, intellectual and emotional skills are learned through cooperative and creative play. For parents, it's a place to improve parenting skills, help shape their child's first educational experience and form lasting friendships.
