At Sierra Heights we not only stress academics, we also have a very strong social skills component to our program. All of our students are involved in Second Step training to learn how to effectively interact with peers and adults. These are lifelong skills which will benefit them as they pursue careers. Also, staff, students and community members meet throughout the year in small, multi-age groups. The goal of these groups is to develop a sense of school spirit and to work on community service projects. We encourage parents, guardians, and other family members to become involved in our school by joining our PTSA, helping classroom teachers, becoming reading tutors, and/or volunteering for many of our school activities. If you are interested in volunteering at any level, please contact the school or the PTSA for more information. Working together, we are confident your child will receive the best education possible at Sierra Heights.
