Description

DISCOVERY! EXPLORATION! LEARNING! Fun, Hands-on Learning Since 1982 For 30 years, Seattle Audubon's longest running youth education program, Nature Camp, has been providing a place for children to come and experience the natural world! Nature Camp provides a safe, fun place for children to discover, explore, and learn about the animal and plants that live in and around Seattle. Nature Camp offers hands-on nature-focused day camps for children entering 1st – 6th grade, and overnight camps for teens entering 7th – 9th grades. Camp themes focus on salt and fresh water habitats, local forests and animals, and of course, birds! We have volunteer opportunities for teens entering 10th - 12th grade. Visit our website for more information and to register! Registration begins February 1, 2013. Join us and discover, explore, and learn more about the natural world around us! "My child loved it! The counselors were knowledgeable, friendly and responsible." –Beth, parent
