For nearly 50 years Bellevue Montessori School has been inspiring students ages 3-12 to become life-long learners, productive workers and global citizens. This is accomplished through our rich academic Montessori curriculum supplemented by Spanish, music, drama, science and other specialties both inside and beyond the classroom. Our diverse and highly-educated staff is dedicated to provide an excellent education. In 2012 we completed a rigorous accreditation process with the American Montessori Society and are now one of only six schools in the state of Washington to hold this distinction. After viewing our website I encourage you to come for a visit to observe our peaceful classrooms filled with students busily engaged with their work.
Bellevue Montessori School offers before school and after school care. Additionally, soccer, art, woodworking and Mandarin classes are offered as after school activities throughout the year.
Art is woven into the curriculum at all levels. Our music specialist, Kari Hailey, leads music classes in both our pre-elementary and elementary programs and drama is taught by our drama specialist, Britt Boyd, in our elementary program. Additionally, after school art classes are offered.

Our ten lead teachers are devoted Montessorians who hold 4-year college degrees and training credentials from MACTE-accredited teacher training programs (Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education). Likewise, the majority of our support staff has either completed or is in the process of completing their MACTE-accredited training. Our five specialists bring their expertise and excitement to each and every classroom. The diversity, experience and dedication of our staff helps make Bellevue Montessori School a strong community where children flourish.
