Bodies for Birth is your consummate resource for fitness from conception through postpartum. Prenatal consults help to set you off on the right path–covering alignment, breathing and mindfulness as well as an individualized exercise program for at home use. Beginning at any point in pregnancy, complement your at home exercise program by joining us for interval based group classes specifically designed to prepare you mentally and physically for the challenges of labor and delivery. In postpartum, individualized consults are available to address alignment, recovery and special concerns such as diastasis recti or recovery from cesarean. A variety of group classes are available as well, including “Mom & Baby” where nursing and diaper changing in between lunges is the norm! Don’t let complications deter you from being your healthiest version of you. Your health care provider will be able to help you strike the right balance of fitness training during your pregnancy. Bodies for Birth will work with you on an individual basis to accommodate your provider’s recommended level of physical activity. Special concerns may include: Gestational Diabetes, Bed Rest, Multiples, Weight Concerns, Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC) among others.
