Baculovirus expression system

Recombinant baculovirus are widely used in the expression of heterologous genes in cultured insect cells. Baculovirus is a family of DNA viruses. They are one of the most prominent viruses known to affect the insect population[1]. Generally, the process of viral replication is divided into three phases, throughout which wild-type baculovirus exhibits both lytic and occluded life cycles.
