Description

• We're a family oriented facility focused on providing top quality Christian education to pre-school aged children. During the school year, we normally have between 15 and 24 children present on any given day; with 24 being the maximum enrollment for our school. With 24 students, 2 lead staff and 2 assistants work with the children. Our usual staff to child ratio for Preschool children is 1:6 to 1:7, the usual staff to child ratio for Pre-K children is 1:8 to 1:9. •Curriculum Info: We have a strong emphasis on Kindergarten preparedness, including Early Literacy and Social/Emotional Skills. We are presently affiliated with Edmonds School District Pre-K - 3rd Grade Early Learning Connection. We use similar curriculum to teach Early Literacy and include approved curriculum such as Dave Matteson. To teach Math Skills, we use methods from Edmonds School District as well as "Math Your Way". To teach learning Social/Emotional Skills, we use "Second Step" curriculum.
