Join us every Saturday morning throughout the summer for our exciting new "Wonders of the Waterfront Tour" led by Harbor WildWatch, Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront Alliance and Harbor History Museum guides. Explore the incredible wildlife and natural resources of Gig Harbor's past and present. Learn about local plants and animals, restoring and re-purposing historic properties, and the industries that are reliant on those natural resources.
This 2 hour, 1.5 mile interactive tour is fun for all ages! Binoculars and Waterfront Bingo Cards will add plenty of enjoyment to your tour experience. Wear comfortable shoes and keep in mind the temperature can vary! The tour begins at 10am at Donkey Creek Park, across the street from the Harbor History Museum. The tour ends at Soundview Forest Park on the other end of the downtown. Participants can ride the trolley back to the starting point of the tour or spend some time enjoying all that Gig Harbor's downtown has to offer.
For more information or questions, contact the Alliance office Monday through Friday during business hours at 253-514-0071.
