Saturday, April 18 @ 10 a.m.–5 p.m.

Join PacSci on Saturday, April 18, for a day dedicated to exploring the exciting world of polar science. In partnership with the University of Washington’s Polar Science Center and Applied Physics Laboratory, Polar Science Day features hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations that highlight the work of scientists investigating some of the most remote environments on Earth.

You’ll have the opportunity to engage with scientists and engineers from the community to learn how they gather information to answer questions about the polar regions.

Whether you’re interested in ice sheets, scientific instruments or Arctic wildlife, there’s something for everyone. Don’t miss this unique chance to experience polar science firsthand and discover the research helping us better understand the farthest corners of our planet.
