Be a good neighbor
- Talk to your neighbors about closing your street for a snow-inspired play street and then let the kids roam free. They can start neighborhood snowball fights, build snowmen (and women!), sled down (safe) neighborhood hills and more! If your yard and sidewalks are reasonably blocked off, it's a great time to go free-range.
- If you’re working from home, enlist trusted neighborhood teens and tweens for help with child care or do a playdate swap with friends and family close by.
- Consider baking treats, shoveling the driveway or making a meal for disabled or elderly neighbors who may have trouble getting out right now.
