Providence Hospice of Seattle Pediatric Luncheon

Calendar/Event Details

Providence Hospice of Seattle Foundation will hold its 18th annual Pediatric Luncheon on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, to raise funds to help seriously ill and grieving children get the care they deserve, regardless of their financial circumstances. Keynote speaker will be Brian Wong, the organization's first medical director, who will speak on the topic: "When a cure is not possible, healing matters most." Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the program will begin at noon at the Washington State Convention Center, 800 Convention Place, Seattle. Participants will not be charged for lunch, but a minimum gift of $150 will be requested. Money raised at the luncheon will help fund Providence Hospice of Seattle's Stepping Stones children’s hospice and palliative care program, Safe Crossings children’s grief support program, and Camp Erin-King County. These critical programs, which benefit terminally ill and grieving children, would not be possible without generous donations.
