Every Child Summit Hero


Use the following instructions to access ParentMap’s Every Child Summit on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020. We have set up the event so you can join at any time during the live summit.

How to join the event

There are two ways you can access the event, depending on your preference. 

  1. Head here to access the Every Child Summit via your web browser on a desktop or mobile device. Enter your name and email address, and then set a password to create your profile.
     
  2. Download the official event app on your Apple or Android device to unlock advanced features, including live chat and event notifications.

We recommend setting up your profile before the event starts so you are ready to go. Once you are in, you can access the event agenda, learn more about each topic and speaker, and add sessions to your personal calendar.

In addition, we recommend having Zoom preinstalled on your computer or mobile device prior to the event. Zoom will be used to stream the speaker sessions, with the session links accessed through the event portal. If you don’t have Zoom installed on your device already, you can download it here.

Resource Fair

Throughout the event, be sure to visit the free Every Child Resource Fair. Connect with 20+ organizations and experts from across the greater Puget Sound who focus on supporting neurodiverse learners. Visit virtual booths, ask questions through live chats and get the resources you need to help your child thrive. 

The resource fair will be open to browse all day during the event, but there are specific time blocks when vendors will be available to live-chat (9:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 6–9 p.m.). Please note, the chat feature is only available through the mobile app.

To chat with a vendor, select the attendees icon. Search by the name of the business you would like to connect with and then select a business representative to chat with. Send a connection request and you will be connected once the vendor accepts your request. After you are connected, you can start a chat through the chat icon on the app. 

Enter to win prizes

Visit the contests section during the summit to join the event challenge for a chance to win cool prizes. Prizes include a $50 Amazon gift card, a $50 gift card from Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria and more!

Helpful tips

As you are browsing the event on the web platform, if you click on any external links they will open in a new browser window. Click the event tab in your browser to get back in the event. On the mobile app, you can select “close” to get back to the app from an external link.
